I assume some people have seen this already, but I'm currently watching "In the name of the king: A dungeon siege movie." Based on the title, it's about what you'd expect. So far the village has been attacked by monsters, and the king hasn't done much about it.

Here's the weird part...

Jason Statham
John Rhys-Davies
Ron Perlman
Claire Forlani
Matthew Lillard
Ray Liotta
Burt Reynolds

Seriously, Burt Reynolds. Who the hell was able to convince these people to be in one of these cheesy movies? Perhaps I'm late to the party (evidently, it was out in 2007), but... damn...

I've seen it on the channel guide, but never watched it. I'm going to have to watch it soon.

Also, apparently there's yet another D&D movie to be watched on one of those awful channels like G4 or SyFy.

Excuse me good sir PAR-T-Pooperpants! SyFy: I would choose the word "fun" before "awful". Would you rather go to a regular network channel and watch something like The Golden Girls? Want a Coors Light with that?

Anyway, I have watched this movie and asked the same question, Mark. It is quite a cast. Unfortunately the movie did nothing to embrace its potential. It didn't even attempt to embrace a cheese factor score. I can't overlook that.

I watched A LOT of Golden Girls when I was a kid, and stayed over at my grandparents' house.

Just sayin'...

My grandmother lived with us.

And the card attached would say thank you for being a friend.

I am sad to say I own this movie. It was cheap at Target one day and I saw the cast and thought it would probably be decent. Man was I wrong.
