Before you spend too much effort on the banner you should be sure this is the theme you want to move forward with. As I was telling Zemmy, it's a lot easier to experiment with themes now before we start hacking the forum software and applying mods.

"Smooth Blue" was another popular theme, but I'm afraid it would just be too much blue.

Edit: Or "Darkness"...? Pace, you know this stuff way better than I do.

There are some world of warcraft themes that have a D&D feel to them. We can of course remove the WoW graphics. Maybe a little too cliche'd though.

I saw the WoW... but I was told that all the fonts and whatnot are trying to look like the official WoW thing.

When I said "darkness", I meant "dark"... but I dunno. I just want something easy to read and that doesn't look like something from work. I do not dislike this one except the smilies.

Well... we could clean the smilies up if we need to. Actually, I may have already had to do that for 'Pirates and if so I could possibly just load in that smilie pack.

I will browse through all the themes and see if I can offer some suggestions too. This one is pretty high contrast and easy to read.

All the "Nerdery" emails starting getting overwhelming, especially with all the copy/paste/quoting.

It's mostly due to the fact that the lighter background of Pirates allows me to appear to be working. Although maybe I can claim this dark one is AutoCAD.

Feel free to find another one. I like high contrast in the posts so this works for me. But now is a good time to find something better. I thought with a little work Element Green would work, but the other nerds voted me down.

Ah, a forum that, at least for now, doesn't make me scroll through fucking pictures of bullshit after each post. Nothing better than a post where someone says "YA I AGRE" and then have this massive flashing thing on the left, and then a banner ad sized crap underneath.

Will there be a subforum for our campaign, or just keep it out here for now?

The subforum for our campaign is "Emerald Hearts".... errr... I'm pretty sure I added you to access sometime before 10:30am today.

There will never be pics allowed in signatures. I really, really hate that.

Any of the greens are ok. The Avalon one is nice and simple. eTech (blue) is what we use on 'Pirates by the way. Getaway (the dark version) is what we used to use.

I really like the AeroRed akshully. It could be tricky getting it to look good with your greenhat logo, but I think it could work.

The Caribbean one would incite uncontrollable rage if I were to have to stare at it for more than 2 minutes.

I know my vote doesn't really count, but just throwing my 2c in.

I like the AeroRed too. I suck with colors so I don't know if it would work. Funny, there's an AeroGreen... but it's not green. At least the little bars denoting forums aren't green.

I like the Avalon or Getaway. I do like the red but with the Green Hat theme it might look a bit like Christmas.
