I'm considering taking Craft Wondrous, but I'd like to know some details on stuff.
1- Stat enhancing items- I make these much more rare and somewhat more expensive in my games than they are in the DMG. This is because I give out a LOT more stats than the standard matrix, and I think it makes some of the numbers too big- essentially, the players already partially *have* one of these. Your base stats are also large. Do you plan to limit these items if they are crafted? (the normal market price for these things is 4k, 16k, and 36k for +2, +4, and +6)
2- Handy Haversack, Bags of Holding-

These are great items. All are too expensive for now, but the Haversack becomes affordable to craft pretty quickly. My policy was always that the items existed but that they were never for sale anywhere the PCs went, never for trade, and I think across all my 3ed campaigns a grand total of two of them were on enemy NPCs, one of whom the players ducked and the other of whom escaped. I told the PCs that they could craft them if they wanted them so bad. Is that an option here?
3- Custom Items- Are you opposed to custom items? For instance, a Headband of Charisma +2, or a different shape or dimensions for bag of holding, etc.
4- Iron Bands of Bilarro- Are these craftable in your game? Not a question of immediate importance.

5- Ioun Stones- How about these guys?

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wo ... dlessWater everyone loves something that creates matter and energy in an easy to use package!
7- Cube of Frost Resistance-
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wo ... Resistance - This item is not overpowered or undercosted, but it does have the awesome text "When activated, it creates a cube-shaped area 10 feet on a side centered on the possessor (or on the cube itself, if the item is later placed on a surface). The temperature within this area is always at least 65°F.". Imagine the endless experiments!
Items that let people fly- Cloak of the bat, winged boots, flying carpets, hoverhorses, flying brooms, and wings of flying are all created with Craft Wondrous item. Unlike with earlier versions of the game, these things are pretty much costed correctly, but it might still get us airborne more or less permanently by about 12th-15th level, which may or may not be fine with you.
Ok I may have added hoverhorse to the list. But they MEANT to put it there, they just ran out of room.
