Lithonion “Ash” Eruheran was born in a fine elven tree top city that sat on a prominent hill in the middle of a great forest. The traders that came through at times called it Cairnwood due to the elven word being to hard to say for those without the refined tounge of the elves. The view from the trees at the center of the town was something to behold, you could see for miles. The mountains to the west rose from the valley floor and seemed to always have snow at the top no matter what season. In the east you could make out a lonely wizards tower that was the only thing to break the carpet of green that stretched as far as you could see.

It was quite the place for Lithonian to grow up, a loving home in a large town that had all the splendors of the wood dwelling elves. His father, Findecáno Eruheran, was a cleric of Latukefu and had the respect of the majority of the people inside and outside of the temple as had his father before him. Lathonians mother, Aranel Calafalas ,was a proud woman who had once been one of the personal guards of Turgon Súrionwho ruled the elves of this forest from the palace in the top tree in Cairnwood. She was highly skilled with a bow and had once wounded a would be assasin named Fëanáro Tîwele. There were rumors that he was a half elf that had been sent for some old vendetta but these were just rumors and no one was quite sure why someone would want to hurt Turgon as he had always been a fair and good ruler.

Lithonina had chosen at a young age that he would like to follow in the footsteps of his father, his grand father and great grandfather in the life of devotion to Latukefu. The temple was a fantastic place to him, full of mystery and magic. The power of the clerics to heal people and even return them from the dead wowed him. The service to the people and their god seemd to him to be a noble pursuit and quite a way to spend a life, especially the long life elves enjoyed. He believed there was nothing better than being an elf and especially an elven cleric,.

He spent his younger years helping around the temple when he was not in school, cleaning robes, taking care of the trees that supported and wrapped around the temple, carrying scrolls and maps for his father. As he grew older and left school he began to walk in the steps of the clerics, taking part in some ceremonys, learning the prayers and meditations that led to gaining the power of Latukefu. When he reached his 100th birthday he was allowed the rites of passage into the cleric life. He was taken deep into the woods to where a certain tree grew alone in a clearing. It was the most beautiful tree he had seen and it had an aura about it that he had never noticed in any of the other foliage in the forest. Joined by his father and grandfather along with several other of the high ranking clerics from the temple he was encouraged to place his hand on the tree and while they formed a circle and began to chant. The tree felt warm at first and then started to get hotter yet didnt burn his hand, a small leaf appeared and then it moved away from the tree revealing a vine behind it that stretched out and began to wrap itself around his arm. The aura of the tree enveloped him and began to ebb every so slightly as the vine seemed to tighten around his arm and then sink below his skin. He then heard a voice that seemed to come from everywhere and the voices of the clerics around him faded away. “I am Latukefu, you are now my one of my sons and I welcome you into that service. I have imbued some of my power into you through this vine, as you serve me this power will become stronger for as you grow closer to me I also grow closer to you.” Everything faded away and soon he felt cool water passing his lips and found himself in his fathers lap by a nearby stream. He felt strange at first, like a new awareness of things he had never noticed before. Through the next few years he learned how to harness this power he had been given and was reminded of that day at the tree by the green vine that wrapped around his right arm that a common person might mistake for a tattoo. When ever he began a spell he noticed the vine would glow slightly with a green light.

His mother also believed that now was the time to teach her son the way of the bow as it was the weapon that had served her so well in her life. They would go into the forest and practice on evenings after dinner and evening prayers were done. She would setup targets in various parts of the woods and then send Lithonian out to find them with a bow and a quiver. It became apparent that he certainly had received some of his mothers skill at using the bow. He gained skill and confidence over those many training sessions and even started going out with the hunters on occasion.

The first dream started on a warm summers evening, it stood out to Lithonian because it seemed so vivid and there was a strange feeling about it. It was a series of images, a city, buildings, a pixie, a wagon and just the word go. He thought it was strange but shrugged it off until it happened again with an even stronger feeling several days later. He tried over the next few weeks to shrug off the strange dreams which became more and more powerful. He was then approached one day by his father while working in the tenple. “Son I have had some troubling visions while meditating this morning, I believe our god has a quest for you and you may have to leave us.” The dreams had been what Lithonian feared. He was being spurned to go out into the world and serve the purpose of Latukefu. It scared him as he only known this town. Sure he had seen traders come through but he didnt praticularly like them much. They all fell short of the grace, understanding and intelligence of the elves and he really didnt want to be out among them. However, his father made him understand that he gave his life to Latukefu
and this was part of being a priest was to do what was required. He also realized these dreams and visions wouldn’t stop. Hey maybe it wouldn’t take very long and he would be right back here in no time.

He set out three days later towards the town that his father said was most likely the town in his visions based off his description of a few prominent buildings. The dreams had subsided in severity but the visions were still readily available in his mind. His mother kissed him on the head and handed him a bow that she had crafted herself. “Go my son and may Latukefu be with you and amy this bow bring you home back safe to me”. His father placed his hand on his shoulders and said a short prayer, gave Lithonian a smaile and turned to walk back into the temple. He then climbed took the path down out of the trees to a waiting group of friends and priests who had gathered together some supplies for him and a horse for him to use. There were hugs and tears and then he climbed on his horse and was on his way. All he could think about when he would be back on this road on his way home after this task was done.

(Possible meeting)
I like the idea of my character and Zems meeting in the city and I was thinking maybe its even possible the rioting that helped free the pixie may have been something caused by my character and Lauakefu. Just a thought.

Of course this is just the idea, if something makes it fit into the world better please feel free to make changes.

Don't want to neglect this thread. I'm still working on why you guys are where you are, and I really wanted to thank you for a sweet story full of adventure hooks!

I do want to say that the Seeker class mentioned won't lose a caster level at level 10. I'll worry more about mechanics when it's time.
