At this point, for me, in order of preference, it's Fridays, Sundays, and then a vacation day. I'd much rather use said vacation day to golf. =*coughcoughpeoplearebadatrespondingtoemailsaboutsuchplanscouchcouch*

I can swing any Friday I'm in town. I'm out of town on the 16th. Fridays basically amount to taking some V if it's the 9th or 23rd, and it costs me nothing if it's the 30th. Either way, that's fine. Sunday... I'd greatly prefer not to run on Sunday.

It's surprising that I have a game involving 10 people and I don't want to fuck them over by not showing?
I don't know which nights are progression this far in advance.

I don't know which nights are progression this far in advance. Having them play solo instead of with a guild is not exactly fucking anyone over. That is not how D&D works.

It's a raid, not solo.
Ok, specifically:
If I'm going to be absent on a Sunday, that would end with either the sunday being called (most likely), or I would have to pull someone from group 2 into group 1. That would be a bit of a deal, because anyone able to run hard modes in group 2 is very valuable to that group. Also, none of them bring my damage. Since I don't know where we would be in progression on any given Sunday, the likely result would be that we cancel progression attempts (progression attempts are multiple tries on the same boss, for hours, to learn some of the less forgiving bosses), and have to cut the week off early.
Later, once we have recruited a few more, my absence would work better, because group 1 will be a bit deeper than exactly 10. But right now, if any of us can't make a raid night, that raid night is largely useless. Now, obviously, things come up. When I go on travel this month, I doubt anything new will die that week. We already have people who have to be out of town or have no internet at different times- Cabbage and another skilled player couldn't be on THIS sunday, for instance, so we finished the instance in regular mode because we knew we couldn't do any of the hard mode bosses.
So, in short, yes, it fucks them over. If I don't log on, there's no raid. None of these people are here for "solo play", which they can do at absolutely any time, and in some cases do. They joined a progression raid guild for the purpose of killing hard shit, and that involves players who are on when they can be. So, can I miss it? Yes. But I definitely don't want to, as it will likely cost us a night of good learning. Because 10 people are involved, as you can guess, we already lose a lot of nights to unavoidable shit, especially motherFUCKING Comcast.

I will ALSO add that raids are in the evenings. If we wanted to do a sunday starting at 9 AM and running to 5 PM, that would be aces by me.

Okay, this may end horribly, but I'm going to throw it out any way.
Since we are having a devil of a time picking a date, how 'bout we shoot for October 1st. Yes, I threw that out because I'm watching Livi, but if you guys are willing to come over here, and understand that I'll be a bit distracted until she goes to bed, I'm game.
We'll also have to be somewhat quiet, but Livi sleeps pretty soundly, so I don't think this is entirely full of fail. Especially if it means that we don't have to wait 3 months to game again.
Just throwing it out there....
Let me know.

I'm game for that. I'll even chip in for a ridiculously huge, overly-padded set of earmuffs for Olivia.

I think it'll be fine if we can move some furniture around to get a little more room. The one table was a bit cramped, and I had the large end of it.
I have a hunch a certain Haila may just want to come down and keep the wee one occupied.

So is October 1 our only Saturday option for, like, the next 3 months? My wife just told me that the next day, Sunday the 2nd, is when her brother is getting married in Boulder. We were supposed to stay in Boulder that night and do family-related things.
She's told me that I can still plan on gaming that night, because this whole wedding has been loosely-planned and is very small and informal. She wouldn't be coming down to play with Olivia, but she's told me that it's OK if we keep this thing on.
Thoughts?

If it's not Oct 1, then it's no earlier than Oct 15.

Crappy. That's entirely too far away. I guess we can keep it as scheduled, and I'll just participate in the actual wedding day stuff.

Well, we could look at the 31st of September, but I have to work that day, and watch Livi, so I would really, really rather not game them.
Are we now serving October 15th?
Vacation day anyone?

Um, by 31st of September, did you mean October 1st?
Cause on the 31st of September, I will suck your dick. Hell, I'll suck ALL the dicks, EACH 31st of September.
But on October 1st, we can game, right? No dick sucking, except for the normal amount Mark does?

I think he meant September 30th.
And that reminds me I owe someone $10.

Brother-in-law told me he's cool with me missing Saturday night. They're going to Sing Sing, which is always a good time, but I'll come be a nerd instead.

So the girls' game got bumped one hour later. Now they play at 4pm.
Still planning to be there as soon as I can.

Still planning to be there as soon as I can. Just bump them off. Problem solved. See you at the normal time.

I pushed back the nominal start time by 57 minutes. Hopefully that reduces our Yetiless time by about... oh... 57 minutes.

I'll be here all day, so just come on over when ever.
And don't worry about 11:00.
Midnight on the other hand...
And H, let me know if you need directions.

October 15 October 22 October 29 November 5
Let's start ruling them out! I wonder if Oct 29 will be the night for Halloween parties. I'm hoping for the 22nd.
