So it occurs to me that I really can't schedule a gaming time until I get backgrounds from you guys. I have provided a lot of information about that, and if you want some help I can steer you in the right direction so you don't need to read everything.

I am going frost elf ranger. But my story is not done, obviously, or I would have posted it!


I know she's there of her own accord, but I am still not sure why she wants to be at a tournament. I would prefer a less mundane explanation, but nothing is all that cools yet. I am sort of hoping to see stuff from the other PCs too.

My first instinct was that it's going to be hard to get you into a group as a frost elf.

Then I realized that anyone who doesn't fling poop at you is your friend. With that in mind, it will be easy.

If we all get our $#!+ together, do you think gaming on Saturday the 21st would be a possibility?

The 26th will be very difficult for me. It might be a no. I'm not sure yet. Given that Cooley reduced July to 2 dates, I consider it unlikely we'll game until September.

Ok, I really can't do the 26th. I should be at the Renaissance fair both the 26th and 27th... I can do just one, but I do Saturday we have to start very late, and if I do Sunday we have to end very early. Both of those options suck... and I really should be there both days.

Also, for the full calendar listing, that's fucking fantastic. As you know, my dates largely correspond to those. I'm going to hope that we can do August 30th and then mid September, but I won't suggest we can plan that far out.

Small point of order here. Other than the back story, how much of the character generation are you wanting done before we arrive on Saturday?

You are correct. The backstory is the only part you need done. We handle the actual generation on Saturday. That way we get to mock you for rolling terribly.

Pretend you roll 2 on the 2d4, and distribute your 90 points. Once you are actually at the table, we'll all roll the 2d4, the attended thingers, etc. But the 90 points can give you a good idea of your character.

I realize that we will all be at Mark's in a few short hours, but I just wanted to throw the idea of dinner out there....

Yes, August 30th is the date no one has ruled out yet. I'm sure it will be ruled out. It might even be me if my parents decide to visit.

After that, we're looking at September 13.
