We learned our team to the south discovered it was the evil empire of Sirexbexa (I honestly give 2 shits about spelling) is poisoning merfolk by dropping things from ships.

A vampire sent a message through the church of Erinth. She wants to talk to Lucien.

Alice has a contact about an assassination attempt from a person named Fredge Dween. We decided to meet Fredge in the temple of Erinth on the 18th of whatever the hell month it is. Fredge said that Prince Antelope of Rotan has been seduced by a vampiress, and in turn has been putting pressure on his father to invade Library. The vampiress is named Malicia Noroven. Same family ruling out there on the west coast, so maybe they are behind all of the international fuckery. Anyway, Fedge represents the thieves guild of Rotan, and he wants to sell us the information that Malicia has hired the Rotan assassin's guild to kill the Glory Reclaimers. They usually attack at night and have auto-poisoning short swords because asshat thinks that should be a thing.

We got word from those ninjas, the Order of Unification. Since we mentioned to them that a threadwinder can be physically destroyed but still functioning, they discovered their government has been using Unmaking Reverse Through Time to keep the people from thinking independently. Much like us, they also discovered maybe destroying these things should be more carefully planned out. Their order is wanted by the shogunate. Niken is probably dead. Caret is here, and she is on the run (telling us this). Another dude is using non-detection because that is available to NPCs but homing beacons are available to PCs. Zujira is populated by free-thinking humans for the first time in centuries.

We went to meet with the vampiress who wanted to speak with Lucien. We carefully arranged to scout out the bar. Being careful didn't help, and the entire bar got transported. Ogtog was outside, but the three of us and Rena were in it along with 30 other people. We got sent to...

Ok, the world is a donut. Inside the donut is a moon. The interior of the moon is hollow. In the center of the moon is a mini-star. So we are on the inside surface, and we are not vaporized because there is some protection system going on from Erinth. There are normal trees, and there are also some metal trees. The normal trees have protection, but the metal trees are something different. They only worship Erinth here. The first encounter was with lizard people with stone right arms. They spoke ancient Voriphan, and so does the pseudodragon, so we got out of that combat. They are Alsathan. They sent us to a Glythan town. The town had some human looking people with stone right arms and heads, and also some normal humans. Eventually we made our way to a big city and finally people could cast Tongues.

"Moon common" is a fucking language, BTW.

The city is called Maltmem, one of three Grand Cities. These people were woken from their slumber a little too early. They were taken from their other worlds that were destroyed. So basically this was a hub where people from destroyed planets came here, and then they waited while the gods made them new planets. There were gateways they would take at the right moment. The people here don't age, and they are generally subdued and bored. They had previously been given the choice to stay or leave and the gods warned them the gateways would be shutting down. So that was a long time ago, and seems roughly the same time magic was lost.

I summoned my new horse. He is a stone horse, just like the moon stone horses. But he is wearing a hat of disguise, so he does not appear to be a stone horse. But he is. Such a clever horse. His name is Major Garlic.

Dragons here are either good (multi-metallic colors), evil (black with contrails), or insane where they switch back and forth and called imbalanced dragons. The evil ones know they are evil and hide far away from civilization. The switchies are the danger.

So anyway, we talked to some priests of Erinth and some wizards on the moon. The priests interrogated the soul of the dude who made the blue wand. They learned a little bit, but mostly they were judging him. He didn't realize how close he was to fucking with major things, so they didn't punish his soul or something. Anyway, the wizards worked out that you can change magenta to blue at the cost of 1 color, and you can spend 5 blues to select what you want on the want. But the want is still broken. So we managed to get back to a place familiar to the wand, which fortunately was Library.

Other things of note:
-We did Hard Gaze with the moon people. By "We" I mean Thrork and Rena.
-We sold a bunch of our tura gems and will purchase new ones. We need to determine our profit there, but it should be huge.
-I discovered I am a terrible paladin because Captain Freckles did not need to die.
-Ogtog fought the vampiress and werewolves. Guess who got away? Anyway, it was 2700xp all around.
-It turns out that it was "Ritual of the heart gaze." We thought it was "Hard gaze" and were phonetically accurate. But, you know... it's too late now.

Lucien got a letter from the vampiress. Alice read it first, so presumably she would tell us what it said even if he doesn't. Basically, he is half vampire. So she wants to kill him, get his bloodline, and then give him a diamond valued at 5000gp to bring him back. She'll keep the bloodline, and he will be alive. That way the other vampires will stop trying to kill him. The other option is she can make him a full vampire and join her. The paladin *might* be ok with one of these options.

We got back to Cadmo. It is the first day of the year 9000, and that seems significant. Something feels different.
