I am Ichabod. I told the priests of Fedahar of my encounter with our god and how it appears that he has died. You may despise me for sharing this, but I merely spoke the truth of my experience. However, the whole truth is much bigger than that. What is death to a god? Fedahar still answers our prayers, eons after the event, which tells us he knew of this so-called "death" before it happened.

Why not take the opportunity to tell his devoted followers that they should forsake him and follow another? He loves us. He would not bring us suffering when if he could avoid it.

I say it is because he will return.

Erinth is a honorable god. We do not question that he also wants the best for everyone. He has been a fine steward for the thread of light, which was until recently bound in an object poorly named the Crown of Erinth. But the crown belongs to Fedahar, and we know the duty of the honorable steward when the king returns.

It is our toil and our glory, using our many virtuous strengths, to ensure that the thread of light is returned to the king. I am not a smart man. I do not know the best way to achieve this, but I am confident we can find a solution together.

I figured at some point I'd give a little sermon to the faithful. Yes, it's fucked up that I wrote this on Easter.
