The five versioned rules documents for the campaign:

Classes 1.2 (working 2026 April 17)
The class document changes are mostly dark knight typos and some ninja changes, plus the one wolf totem change and ki boost. I only made one printout of the class document, and if I ever print my diffs then 1.2 will be finalized.
Should I make a samurai class?

The final page has some blabber about Elves in the Satyr section, and at some point I want to add explanatory text to the languages section to make character creation more precise (these are drop-ins for D&D races, the text isn't integrated with the rainbow roll table). Anyway, no rush unless some of you get slaughtered by ninjas and have to roll a new dude.

I maintain a list of houserules, and I will periodically reprint them for you. Every change is intended to be here, but you know, sometimes there aren't. Be sure to check out the rules on the hit points shields have, especially if you want to buy a Corewood Shield sometime. Or maybe a ceramic one! Also learn how your shields can take damage which is why the hit points matter!
(the hitpoints are never gonna matter)

Precious Conjuncts v0.91
Changes from the 0.85 document:
Changed the first power of cosmic rose quartz (weapon half).
Too many gems granted the ability to doff armor as an action. Beryls keep this. Corundum have it replaced with a power to grant magical pliability that doesn't hinder swimming or sleeping. Quartz simply have it removed, with their lesser gems granting AC.
Reworded some GM notes.
The armor powers on the beryl were generally very poor. I changed the "good" save (Wis/Dex/Con) to be added right away, starting with rare, and made it so that low d12 rolls can add to the saving throws in question. By not being static values, it doesn't stack and bust bounded accuracy for the good saves, while still being able to actually turn a hard save into a success rarely, something a d20 struggles to do alone.
The Defensive Green Jasper's armor ability for saving throws was increased. This is a unique power and hard to figure out what it should be, but I think it's more correct now.
I now think that all the rare Kenda gems, when put in armor, are pretty close to each other, and this was the last rarity with huge differences.
Fixed a typo on Invincible Lustrate Star (just a missing dash) and changed Transcendent Lustrate Star as follows:
- When "Variability", the star's main power, comes up, the second roll is no longer optional. This is a nerf, because the reroll has a 1/12 chance of causing the spell to fizzle. My belief is that a player would not choose to roll this whenever it mattered, defeating the point of the star, and that the correct decision could take awhile to come to, adding analysis to a really complex encounter (the star is legendary, so it will probably not be around until high level).
-Moved "Variability" from 5 to 6, and increased its chance of triggering two table entries from 1/2 to 7/12, a mild buff.
-Added a lesser Healstar to 6, a solid buff from nothing and sometimes an important choice should Variability proc.
-Removed Mana Retention (the ability to regain a lesser spell slot; basically a weaker version of Clearcast) and replaced it with Sudden Heighten. When choosing with Variability Mana Retention was truly useless (you'd pick clearcast if you wanted that effect), and having Sudden Heighten as an option ups the power of Variability.
I believe that this all makes this gem more desirable, but because it still causes 1/144 spells to fizzle AND it's legendary I suspect it won't have a lot of likes and subscribes.

I updated Precious Conjuncts to v0.91.
Note: I have printed all pages for this and they are in the back of my car, awaiting delivery in June. This reprint includes pages 1-69 (all the Kenda Gems) and the second to last physical page (83,84), which contains the Transcendent Lustrate Star changes above.

I suspect I won't be making any modifications for months at this point (Edit: regarding Kenda Gems). All the ideas I have for weapon properties don't have any logical upgrades or downgrades, are pretty complex, and have no thematically paired defensives, so they'll either never show up or will be on completely unrelated items, so I'm dry on Kenda gem ideas at the moment.

I have a desire to make the two uncommon Lustrate Stars more distinct from each other, and any changes to them would trickle down to the direct inheritors of higher rarity- but I don't have any ideas for how to do that which result in the gems being cooler. If I come up with that, I'll make a new version, if I don't, I won't. I also may take another look at the three "stellar remnant" Lustrate Stars. These lack the static bonus to DC and spell hit, instead having larger bonuses available on the spelldie table. Because these stars are dying or dead they also lack the warming power of clearcast. These two missing things mean that the rest of the star has to be really exciting, and I'm not sure this trio meets that standard yet. Power-wise they seem to be correct, but...
Anyway, at this point I think I'm satisfied with Precious Conjuncts for the most part.
