I was wondering if anyone had any rules for what a squirrel familiar would do. So I searched google for squirrel familiar.

Thus encouraged, I continued forward to http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:EgV ... =firefox-a , a prestige class centered around squirrels. But, it has a squirrel familiar on it! He suggests +2 to Climb checks, the same bonus as a lizard.

Hrm.

I should totally hold out for a pseudodragon.

I always thought the missing familiar was the rabbit. Probably too silly for some players, though.

Yea, I could see rabbit.

There are quite a few more birds they could include. I mean, bluejays and cardinals for sure.

Rabbit? You get a lucky-roll familiar with 4 charges and then you have to carry your rabbit around?

With a squirrel familiar I would be worried some farmer would shoot and eat it the first 5 minutes I wasn't around.
