So I see that we have a total of 18 members, but I only see that aboot 5 post in these forums.

Maybe they are all shy? Maybe cfalcon scared them into submission? Maybe they are all an alias for "Pace"?

Anyway, come out, come out where ever you are and introduce your self! :)

I am James. I enjoy playing rather simple characters as this allows me more time to mix tasty elixirs for other gamers in the party. Maybe there is more... Oh yes! Our DM has a recokulous amount of dice. I once made fun of him for this. I now understand his addiction to them. I need to go and buy more!

I love dice.

I doubt that anyone is around anymore. Some people signed up, but... well, we need more gaming groups.

Speaking of drinks, will that pina colada mix stay good? Or should I get some more?

Get some more, and don't forget your ice cream.

Hello.

My name is James. I don't play D&D, but I do like to observe social experiments.

Hi,

My name is Etchy and if I lived in Denver I would play D&D with you guys (if you'd have me.) My current line of work precludes me from playing role playing games with co-workers without semi-serious professional consequences (I can't do my job if my boss thinks I'm a weirdo...) and I'm no longer in a place where I am friends with gamers so woe is me.

A long time ago I was a DM. This was back when AD&D 2nd Edition was new and cool. Apparently there has been a couple of editions since then.

Were I to play I would probably go for a CG Cleric of some sort since that seems to suit my role-playing personality.

You can't play nerdy game AND you can't sleep with your buddies and talk about it? Dang, piracy must be hard in the army... but I guess that makes sense.

I am almost at the "less than 6 years left" mark of my Army career. I think it's time to start making some connections at some 3- and 4-letter agencies in the Denver area. Jenn loves Colorado and wants to go back.

Hi everyone,

My name is Tim and I am a friend of EtchyLives. I started out playing 2e way back in the day and had a solid group of players in highschool playing 3e. I'm in the same board with Etchy in the "Can't let people at work know I'm crazy" for the most part. But Etchy and I are in the same play with a few others so we are trying to finally set something up.

Hello :ugeek: ,

I'm Brian, friend of etchy and dark2040. Started playing with 3.0 in college with a group of guys. Tried playing with friends from home after, but I sucked a DM so it didn't last long. Finally made it into the Army, in a Cavalry unit. Mentioned D&D, response was always, "I got laid in high school." On a deployment broke the cardinal rule, don't fraternize with Soldiers, but made time on FOB go quickly. Now I'm in Korea, land of eternal boredom, and found a group of like minded nerds.

You guys really make this sound like D&D is another DADT situation. :)

Aren't like minded nerds fantastic?

Sooo... seriously, cavalry unit? Like... horses? I feel like I need to go google some stuff because that sounds awesome.

Also, "but I sucked a DM" is the best typo ever.
