The primary purpose behind The Green Hat was to create an online space where our gaming group could post logs of what happened, arrange meeting times, discuss house rules, etc. We did not want other people coming into our discussion and offering their opinions on the matter, but we wanted the format of a forum.
We figured as long as we were at it, we would open it up to others.
It's very simple. If you have a gaming group, you can have your own forum. You can do what you want with it so long as it is vaguely gaming related. Moderators will occasionally browse your forum to make sure it is vaguely gaming related. If you simply want a private place to talk about pottery or share your math homework, don't bother me. Only one forum per gaming group.
The game master should PM me with the following information: Campaign name (this will be your forum name) Exact usernames of players (you can update this later)
Level of privacy. In any case all of your members can post, the question is who can read/write in your forum. Unless specifically requested, your forum will not even be seen by non-registered users. Otherwise, select from these... 1. All Registered users can post in your forum. 2. All Registered users have read-only access to your forum, but only members may post. 3. Only members of your group can read and post in your forum.
