A request for a change of venue?
So Shelle is headed back to Pueblo this weekend, and I just realized that the dogs are going to be in the house all day, and if I have to head to Mikes, they will be in all night, and this could lead to all sorts of interesting distruction. Could we game over here instead?
We'll have the house to ourselves and the dogs if that's all right?
And I won't be offended if you guys pre-game at Mikes.
Oh, and we could grill something for dinner. I'll even go out and get some beer.
What do you say?

Well, we've tried that before, and the general problem is there's not enough room. Manly men gaming take up lots of space and table space.
Your place is between Mike's and work, so... couldn't you throw them outside for 20-30 minutes on the way? I'd rather wait a little longer for you to get there than relocate all our shit.
Also, grilling doesn't work. I'm sure it would be delightful, but it just doesn't work for gaming. First you've got to get shit ready, then fire up the grill, then flip things, then we eat... and we lose well over an hour. And don't think "Well, we lose an hour fucking around anyway" because this will be in addition to the normal time we lose.
Ever since a guy named Jeremy decided to "make pizzas" while gaming, I learned no player should be allowed to cook during gaming. Grilling is the worst because there's fire and you must be outside for most of it.

So remember how I couldn't game this weekend because we were heading out on a long road trip? Well, that fell through. And I got to thinking that we really didn't accomplish much this saturday story wise, so H mos tlikely still has lots of dragons generated... So do you guys want to game this Saturday? You know you do

I could be down for it, but I suspect there is a 0.23% chance the more whipped among us could do it.
It would actually be tricky for me too.

Sorry guys, I'm out for this Saturday. And it has nothing to do with being whipped.

13th? 20th? 27th? The 13th and 20th both work for me. With Halloween falling on a Wednesday, the Halloween parties could fall either on October 27 or November 3. So let's keep those weekends out of the mix for now, unless nothing else works.

Putting on a costume in November is immoral or something. Halloween... the one night of the year I turn off my front light.

13th should be fine. We are lame, and don't really do anything for Halloween, so 27th, should be okay.
If there is a god, I'll be going to SEMA this year, which would be the week after Halloween.
But with my luck, god will turn out to be a dragon, and I don't have my Dragon Helm, or Dragon bain weapon IRL (wholly crap, I just said IRL), so that would doubtlessly end poorly...
[edit] actually, it's the week of the 30th to the 2nd[/edit]

It's ok to say IRL broski!
I'm not sure if it's ok to say "broski" though.

I'm not sure if it's ok to say "broski" though. Only if you are Russian. And even then, it is a bit over the top.

So it looks to me like the 13th is happening. At least, no one has shot that one down yet.

October 13th works for me, can we do 3:09 instead though, I've totally got a thing at 3:07.

Oh I've got the whole morning and early afternoon planned out for us up until 3 but its going to take me 9 minutes to get out of the gimp mask and chicken costume, I already practiced.

For a moment I tried picturing a chicken with a gimp mask... and now I'm sorry I did that.

I'm pretty sure that's a photoshop. There's no way R2D2 would lose in a joust.

He would if it was a hologram of R2 with a somatic component, which he's likely capable of. He's probably trying to give the Fowlknight confidence for his upcoming quest.
