The kids have a tournament the weekend of August 15th, but that shouldn't effect gaming. At worst, I show up late.

Sorry, Jon, but in order to make sure our beloved Yeti can attend, let's shoot for 4:17pm. I'm tired of round numbers too.

Sounds like we need some dedicated methods for caffeine injection.

Aug 15th works for me and I am fine with going later.

Unless we experience a rain delay, I should be able to make the trek from Boulder to Mark's by 5 or so. I will give Mike my character sheet so you all can get started w/o me.

It's already on my calendar for 4:17. I'll find an open window if the door is locked.

Hey y'alls (or alls y'alls?),
Thoughts about 3 weeks from now? That's Labor Day weekend, so we'd have an extra day to play around with to make everyone's schedules work. We could either do Saturday night or Sunday night, assuming that everyone actually has Monday off.

Another weekend, another tournament, but one of those nights should work.

Ok, so I screwed up. It is going to be a very bad weekend for me. I have the tournament AND... Skank's wedding. So you think "ok, you should be able to manage that". Oh no, Wife's little friend decided that the wedding should be in Keystone. We get to spend a small fortune on lodging in addition to buying gifts and driving an hour and a half to get there and back! I am super excited.

If we need to find another weekend, fine. But... how does the wedding cover 2 nights? Remember, no work on Monday.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Is Sunday night not a possibility?
I suppose the alternative is the next weekend: Saturday, September 12.

I have confirmation. We will be playing this coming Saturday at 6pm.
I *need* to know something, though. It's metagaming, which I don't want to do, but something I need to be ready for next session.
Assume you acquire the black iron rose you are seeking now. What will you do? One option is you will then go find the other 2 black iron items and the temple of the fallen goddess. Option 2 is you will find some way to destroy the black iron rose or hide it or whatever, and then consider yourselves done with this issue.
If you go with option 1, I obviously need to work on the other 3 items. If you go with option 2, I need some other stuff done. So please, work it out among yourselves and let me know. Either option is fine, I just need to know which.
I need to know... Monday, really.

I think Marchosias would be all for looking for the other two items and then looting.....err, *finding* and exploring the temple.

Signy will be all for destroying the black iron rose once found, and then moving on. She would say that taking the item along with the party would be a silly idea, but is equally up to the task of defending the frail wizrad should say, an evil sorc try to take it.

I believe Sunny will want to make sure the balance will not be tipped to evil by them receiving god level power. He will want to find the other objects and find the temple to put to rest whatever resides there.

So...
PAR: Get all 3. Sweetcheeks: Get all 3. John: Get all 3
Yeti: Get 1 and head out. Eron: Get 1 and head out (yes, he told me via email which his character would want and which he would want. I think he will lose points for role playing on a Monday)
Cooley: Busy selling parts or something.
I'm going to call that "Get all 3." Whether this is the right choice or whether you will succeed in this quest I will not say. I just needed to know your direction.

Well I personally would love another dungeon, especially one we can bring full rope tricks into. Everyone wants to sleep cuddled up next to Sunny, of course! A dungeon generally will have nice loot, and probably plenty of stuff we could haul off to Da Big Town and actually exchange for magic items.
But Eron wouldn't think that way- the sorceress almost scored the seed last time, and if indeed some powerful divine relic is left over, not only do we not have a friendly druidess to hand it over to, but we also don't have a good clue of what we SHOULD do with it. What will it do? The goddess in question didn't exactly sound Neutral Good, if you know what I mean. All that on top of risking an ambush FROM the sorceress. I'm just worried we'll be doing her work FOR her.
But since we are rolling with it, we'll just have to make sure to be a little bit careful.

I think that we have to get all 3. We have no way of knowing if they can get into the temple some other way, so we have to get into the temple, and get the god power for ourselves.
I am looking forward to this Saturday, and am curious to see how the new battle rules go.

Hey lady - as a wise man once said: "You gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women." I'm working on the first two. I'll keep you on the list for the 3rd one.
