Okay, we'll give it a shot and see what happens. Fair warning that I may be a little rough around the edges when I show up. I'll text when heading your way.

Actually, yes.

Well, eventually the rest of you die of old age, but I'm good to go.

Good to hear. It was a fantastic campaign! I look forward to the recap and epilogue!

I can give you the basics.

Remember the key we threw into the Maw in the Earth elemental plane? Well, a priest of that guy brought it back to us. He said we'd need it. We entered a big room and started fighting. We managed to knock down two demons and use the demonseed fix on them while they were unconscious. Then they ate up 2 restore potions.

At the end of the hallways sort of in the room, that Assclown Kid was there being a dick. He was that 8 year old boy from the beginning of the campaign running away from the Umbrans. I maintain it would have made little difference if we had tried to save him back then, but whatever. He kept throwing nasty spells at us. He also tried to dominate some people. Between Mind Blank and a couple remarkable saves on the part of Sweetcheeks and Cooley, no one was taken over. Anywho, the Assclown Kid was behind a magical wall. Along with the Assclown Kid was... Narso, because H likes angering me. Narso got away before really joining the battle, and he took the stick that would let him travel in time. There was also a chronomancer as a prisoner. This was the guy who gave us that scroll in the beginning. He was trying to fix some shit and it got messy. The Assclown Kid killed the helpless chronomancer. He also had that triangle guy that might be the same one we saw at that party in V-country. He was tied up, but he survived. And finally there was a floating image of the Nameless One. We had to attack that wall. We got it down.

As soon as we got it down, the Assclown Kid's trap went off. Everyone was immobilized... except one pixie, who managed to roll a 20 on his save. Impossibru, you say? Maybe, but it happened, so suck it. I guess this trap affected the invading armies, so our allies started getting cut down. I exchanged damage with the Assclown Kid, but after a couple rounds I failed a save and had to hand over the key. He put it in the keyhole, and suddenly the Nameless One was physically there. He was still unable to act, but he was right there. Activating the key thing would come next, but before then the people from the book came by. I guess if we had 10 years, they had like... umm... I don't know. Thousands of years. Tens of thousands? I don't know. They developed new technology, and they used some of that technology to exist in the real world. They killed the shit out of all the Umbrans in just a few rounds. Plasma swords and blasters and shit. They killed the Assclown Kid, spoke of their devotion to Keichi or something, explained they couldn't stay here long but that they had been preparing for a really long time, and left.

Then came the "WTF do we do with this Nameless One?" thing. Sure, we could have just locked him back up by taking key bits, but that seemed wrong. About 40 minutes of browsing this forum ensued, and eventually we were pointed to the exact sentence. Remember Morgrim got cursed by the baddies? We had to send you into Dream Land like 6 times to get some particular bits? Well, it was the same sort of curse on the Nameless One, and it turned out that the cure we made included two doses. So we had a "One dose of cure any insanity" sitting around. We gave it to the Nameless One.

It turns out his name was Shem. He was played by a putz. Latufeku Emuloa came to say hello because they used to be in an adventuring party WITH CARREG KILGRYS WHO WAS UNMADE, ASSHOLE. No longer insane but still rather upset with himself for things he had done, Shem finished creating the world. We got a lot more stars. Remember when we went to the future, got Vyztria, and fought mech spiders? Yeah, that was this future. They finished putting in all the stars. And a bright moon or something lit up the remaining Umbrans.

Hopefully I have not stepped on toes by really only recounting the session. Presumably, a little novella will come from the DM at some point.

Thanks! While the eventual recap will have stuff, it's meant to, well, recap, and Alenkaface definitely needed a summary, as she wasn't there to remember it later.

I am surprised we never found one of these. I think it should make an appearance in Jon's next campaign.
