I don't want to make a document for just like two or three new things, but I probably will eventually once I convert a couple of the "special material" items from magic items into materials (for instance, if you make a heavy metal armor out of adamantine instead of steel, you are immune to crits). This will be done with some amount of metalworking that costs a lot of gold instead of as a magical item (5e standard has it as a magic item:
https://dnd5e.wikidot.com/wondrous-item ... tine-armor ), because, of course, you're gonna stick a gem in it to make it a magic item so it has to be a material that takes a Kenda Gem, not a magic item from a table. I'm still rounding up the relevant materials there.
But I do want to introduce two things that, while subject to change, should just be assumed to be on the armor chart for now.
Under medium armor:
Code:
Name Cost AC Stealth Weight Materials
Corewood Hauberk 500 gp 14+DexMod (max 2) X 25 lb. Wood, Cloth
Under heavy armor:
Code:
Name Cost AC Str Stealth Weight Materials
Ceramic Plate 2000 gp 17 Str 13 X 50 lb. Shaped Ceramic, Padding
I have some other ideas but they aren't developed enough and this table has room for maybe two other things but I'm already pressing it, so I need to pick the best ones.
