What I like about Lesser Blur is that it references a familiar spell- blur- and then changes it so that it lasts only one turn. This is almost identical in effect to the monk's patient defense, which for one ki lets the monk use the dodge action as a bonus action.
(lesser blur is slightly weaker because it can be seen through via the same mechanisms as blur- true sight, or blindsight- whereas the dodge action has no such counters)

Did anyone have a more appropriate name suggestion though?

"Lesser" implies decreased functionality, which isn't right. It is the same as blur, but only for a short duration. I would pick an adjective that suggests that.

Maybe "Quick Blur" or "Fleeting Blur" or something like that.

Ok, I'm considering swift blur. This was a method of naming spells that were cast with a swift action (the precursor to the bonus action, from the D&D 3.0 Miniature's handbook), but only lasted a round.

This spell, for instance, has that property.

I may keep lesser blur because I think I have a few names like that already under ninja, but I'll review. It would be a better name.
